Irfan Suleman and Asad Suleman: The Key Drivers of Suleman Sweets & Bakers
The two names behind today's Suleman Sweets & Bakers, and why the business credits its direction to them rather than to a job title.

Every long-running family business has people who carry it from one chapter to the next. At Suleman Sweets & Bakers, those people are Irfan Suleman and Asad Suleman.
Carrying a 1993 legacy forward
The late Haji Suleman opened the first Suleman shop in Model Town, Gujranwala, in 1993. Irfan Suleman and Asad Suleman are the key drivers of what that single shop has become: a Punjab-wide mithai and bakery name with branches, an online store and a range that runs from halwa to baklawa to fresh bakery items.
Directors, not a CEO
Suleman Sweets & Bakers has no CEO. Irfan Suleman and Asad Suleman serve as directors alongside Abdullah Rizwan, grandson of Haji Suleman, and the three take decisions together. The honour they carry comes from the business itself, the quality of the sweets and the trust of the families who keep coming back.
Who leads Suleman Sweets & Bakers?
Suleman Sweets & Bakers has no CEO. It is a family business led by a board of three directors, who take decisions together:
- Irfan Suleman, Director (Business Operations): elder son of the late Haji Suleman, with more than 45 years of experience working beside his father.
- Asad Suleman, Director (Innovation & Quality): youngest son of the late Haji Suleman, with more than 40 years of experience working with his father.
- Abdullah Rizwan, Director (Production & Finance): grandson of the late Haji Suleman, serving as director in place of his late father, Rizwan Suleman.
There is no CEO, CFO or managing director. Read how the director-led model works or meet the leadership.
